Your senior session only happens once, and we want to make sure it is all about you.

I’m Carrie Harris, a high school senior photographer based in Saline, Michigan, creating natural, personality-driven portraits for students in Saline, Ann Arbor, and surrounding southeast Michigan communities. My goal is simple, to photograph your senior in a way that feels like and reflects them and who they are right now in a way that reads relaxed, confident, and completely authentic.

The Experience

I photograph a limited number of seniors each season so every session feels thoughtful and unrushed. From the moment you book, we’ll plan your session together. From choosing locations in Saline and Ann Arbor to help styling outfits, we’re going to design a session that reflects your senior’s personality and interests.

I draw inspiration from natural, film-inspired portraits. I love portraits that feel recent as well as classic, creating timeless images that you will be able to love forever. We will avoid props and poses that will instantly date your session and leave you with images that look just like you.

So, let’s avoid stiff posing and rushed timelines. Together we’ll create a calm, personalized experiences to celebrate this year that only happens once.

You will also have the option to purchase heirloom print products from my professional lab. You’re likely going to be leaving home soon, mom and dad are going to cherish those printed photos of you hanging on their walls or the album full of your smiling expressions sitting on the coffee table.

When to book senior portraits in saline and Ann Arbor

 

Many high school seniors book their senior sessions either in the summer before senior year or the early fall and Saline High School seniors are no different. Senior year is new and fresh and they’re ready for the fun parts to begin! Let me share the benefits of summer and fall sessions.

Summer Senior Sessions:

The light is golden and gorgeous. Summer sessions have these natural, warm tones that you only find that time of year. Plus, your senior’s schedule will be much more flexible in the carefree summer days.

Fall Senior Sessions:

The color, right? Fall is all about the beautiful color that can be found all around Saline and Ann Arbor. The air is crisp and invigorating and the clothes are next level. The cozy textures of fall clothes can’t be beat.

ONE LAST THING BEFORE GRADUATION!

Every spring I offer the ever popular cap and gown mini sessions. Some seniors like to build these into their spring sessions, others prefer to make them their own session entirely. Either way, cap and gown sessions take about 15 minutes and will provide you with gorgeous photographs to use at those important graduation parties! Cap and gown sessions can take place in any location that fits your personality in either Saline or Ann Arbor, Michigan.
