The Senior Collective

Senior year holds a quiet kind of weight. It is filled with so many last firsts. So many things you’ve been doing for over twelve years that won’t last forever. There is a version of you that exists right here and now that soon will change.

The Senior Collective is a way to pause and capture that in a way that is simple and honest.

What It Is….

The Senior Collective is a small group of seniors from the Saline and Ann Arbor, Michigan area that I photograph once together in the spring.

We’ll meet in either Saline or Ann Arbor for a lightly styled session, nothing overly planned or forced.

We’re after a beautiful location, good light, and space to create something natural and meaningful.

What It Isn’t….

This isn’t about perfect outfits or knowing exactly how to pose. It’s not about being the most comfortable in front of the camera or the most “photogenic”. We’re not looking for a performance from you.

Who It’s For….

This is for seniors who are drawn to something a little more natural. Who don’t need everything to be perfect, just real. Someone who wants images that feel like them.

Each member of The Senior Collective will participate in a lightly styled group portrait session this spring.

Following the session, you’ll receive a curated collection of digital images from our time together, included as part of the experience.

By participating in The Senior Collective, you’re giving permission for images from our session to be shared on my website, social media, and other promotional spaces.

I approach sharing with intention and care, always aiming to represent each person honestly and respectfully.
