PreK Cap and Gown Portraits: Saline & Ann Arbor, Michigan

This may be a bit unexpected considering I’m almost exclusively a senior photographer, but stick with me for a moment and you’ll see why these portrait sessions are an important part of my year.

Because parents, one day that will come sooner than you think, you’ll be flipping through old photos as you prepare for a graduation party. I want you to have these photos to sit side by side with your child’s high school cap and gown portraits.

In these sessions, they wear a cap and gown that’s far too big, with sleeves that hide their hands and arms and hems they have to drag around. It’s crazy and chaotic and it’s exactly the point.

While they are tiny now, they won’t be for long. And these images serve as the beginning of a full circle story. One day, the gown is way too big, the next, it fits just right.

You’re definitely going to want both sets of portraits.
